Creme Foundation
Creme Foundations have become a go-to foundation in theatrical makeup and many other disciplines. The opaque, full coverage creme formula offers the perfect level of pigment and blending capabilities for stage, drag, opera, and performance makeup.
As one of our original formulas, classic Creme Foundations have been gracing the faces of the performing arts for generations. It’s available in a wide selection of colors to accommodate a broad range of performers and characters.
14gm./0.5oz. Expect 25-75 applications.
Apply Creme Foundations to the skin with a sponge or brush in a stippling motion.
Layer for full coverage if desired and even out texture with sponge. For a more subtle effect, buff excess creme foundations with a clean foam sponge or foundation brush (PBS-3 or PBS-7). For superior stage ready results, apply Classic Face Powder generously throughout the makeup application.
Allow powder to settle into foundation before blending away excess.
Gently wipe off makeup with Quick Cleanse on a cotton pad. Wash off residue with soap and water, oil-free Hydra Cleanse, or a facial wipe.
Classic Face Powders and Ben Nye’s range of vibrant, high-contrast Creme Rouge, Shadows, and Highlight shades are recommended complements to ensure the performer’s face will translate properly on stage. For makeup designs that need to outlive live performances, finish with Final Seal for durable results.
